Hey, ik ben Merel. Ik heb HBO Chemie met de major Food en Pharma gestudeerd aan Avans in Den Bosch. Ik ben nu bezig met mijn master Medicinal Chemistry aan radboud Universiteit. Ik ben bestuurslid geworden omdat ik nieuwsgierig was naar het grote geheel van het chemiewerkveld. Hierdoor ben ik tot de ontdekking gekomen dat ik een passie heb voor organische chemie. Ik vind het leuk om mijn netwerk uit te breiden door nieuwe mensen te ontmoeten tijdens het organiseren van activiteiten.

Hallo, ik ben Lian Blijlevens en ik heb een PhD in de vaste stof chemie (warmte-opslag in zout kristallen). Daarna heb ik kort gewerkt met kristallisatie van pharmaceutische moleculen en nu ben ik begonnen bij een bedrijf dat warmte-opslagsystemen ontwikkeld. Tijdens mijn studie en PhD aan de Radboud heb ik steeds geholpen met scheikundigen verenigen en ik zie ernaar uit om dat bij jong KNCV op landelijke schaal te doen.
Hi, I am Emilia. I am a Ph.D. candidate at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in biocatalysis. I have always been passionate about contributing to the bigger picture of science in relation to society. I joined the Young KNCV because I wanted to learn more about chemistry at different levels in the Netherlands and have the opportunity to network with other people who have chosen chemistry as part of their lives.

Prior to my study, I've worked in the pharmaceutical industry for 4 years as a process engineer. Hi, I am Tatiana, an enthusiastic chemist from Moldova, currently pursuing a Bachelor Program in Circular Chemical Engineering at Maastricht University, the Netherlands.
Chemistry has been a cornerstone of my life from a young age. My dedication led me to participate in numerous chemistry olympiads, including earning a bronze medal at the 53rd International Chemistry Olympiad in 2021.
I strongly believe that progress is driven by both science and collaboration. Sharing knowledge fuels innovation, which is why jong-KNCV was the ideal place for me to continue my journey. Since joining the board in 2023, I have also become part of the EYCN and IYCN teams, allowing me to expand my contribution, to connect and share ideas within the broader European chemistry community.
