Activities
As Jong KNCV, we organize activities specifically for chemists, life scientists, and process technologists up to the age of 35. As a member of Jong KNCV, you are also a member of the KNCV, which means you can attend all activities organized by the KNCV and its sections, regional branches, and working groups, often at a discount!
TIP! If you are logged in, you don't have to enter your details every time you want to sign up for an event.
Jong KNCV Café
Connect with other young chemistsThe Jong KNCV Café offers a relaxed and sociable way to connect with other young chemists, student associations, and peers in your region. These informal gatherings focus on meeting people, exchanging ideas, and having fun. You have the opportunity to network, share experiences, and learn more about opportunities in the field of chemistry, all while enjoying a laid-back atmosphere. The café takes place several times a year, each time at a different location.
Company visits
Discover the practice behind the chemistryWhat goes on inside a chemical laboratory, a factory, or an innovation center? Our company visits offer you exclusive access to unique sites within the chemical industry. Jong KNCV organizes these visits to bridge the gap between theory and practice and to introduce young chemists to the many career paths available in the field. It is a fantastic opportunity to ask questions, take a look around, and explore your future options.
Jong KNCV Theatre-dinner
Jong KNCV invites you to an enjoyable evening featuring good food and entertainment. The Theatre-dinner brings together students, PhD candidates, alumni, and young professionals to share their passion for chemistry, meet new people, and catch up in an informal setting.
